Mike Clifford
Capacity’s Founder & Strategic Director of Reduce the Red
Mike founded Capacity in 2017 out of a desire to see Christian leaders experience the growth, peace, joy, and vibrant life that Christ intends for them. It’s these leaders who will turn the world upside down. He now works as the strategic director of Reduce the Red. Mike spent a season living in the South African bush, where the stars are indescribably beautiful. His favorite animals are the red panda, black rhino, and chickadee.
In his free time, Mike enjoys cycling, gardening, and going on outdoor adventures with his wife and son. They have two dogs, five chickens, and a whole bunch of fish.

Karen Bartlett
Spiritual Director & Social Worker
Karen is a traveler, reader, and life-long learner who loves connecting with people. By day, she is a social worker with K-12 students at four different schools. In the evenings, she meets with directees to provide spiritual direction. “It’s an honor and delight to witness Jesus bring healing and wholeness to others as they encounter the living God,” she said.
Karen currently resides in Wichita, Kansas, with her husband, Rick. They have two young adults, Grace and Tobias. Karen recently finished her masters neuroscience and trauma. Previously, she lived in the UK for seven years and has been privileged to see breath-taking scenes throughout the world – quaint villages in England, the old city of Antioch, the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, the beautiful islands of Greece, the wineries in Spain, the coffee plants in Colombia, the sunsets in Costa Rica, and many other places of beauty.

Nathan Hansen
Urban Pastor
Nathan is an associate pastor at Hilltop Urban Church in Wichita, Kansas. He previously spent six months in India and was captivated by the beautiful mountains, tropical foliage, and vibrant colors woven into the culture.
In his free time, Nathan likes to run, read, kayak, camp, and gather around tables with friends, including his pup, Murphy.
Why Nathan loves Capacity: "We walk alongside attendees and build friendships – which makes them more than just attendees."
The most fascinating thing about Jesus: "He is the single person in the entire cosmos who deserves the most praise, yet he chose the humble path on this earth."
Tim Loftin
Bible Teacher
Tim teaches Bible classes at Trinity Academy High School in Wichita, Kansas. He also has 25 years of experience in youth ministry.
Outside of work, Tim likes to read, ride bicycles, and hike. His dream is to visit all of the U.S. National Parks. He and his wife, Buffy, have three children and eight grandchildren.
What Tim loves about Capacity: "We get to engage with people on a deeper level and imagine something greater for each of us."

Jesse Penna
Director of Student Ministries for EFC-MAYM
Jesse was born in Denver, Colorado as a PK – preacher’s kid – as part of the Friends Church and has been attending and serving at a Friends Church ever since. Jesse graduated from Friends University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in music, in 2010 with a masters degree in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Spiritual Formation, and completed the Apprentice Experience in 2016.
Jesse is currently the Director of Student Ministries for EFC-MAYM. He enjoys camping, hiking, playing trombone, listening to classical music, and most especially enjoys life with his wife Abby, two daughters, Evelyn and Sarah, and son Levi. He is also the proud steward of a Newfoundland, chickens, a 71 Ford Pick-Up, and an old farmhouse.
Joe Skillen
Pastor
Growing up, Joe spent time in Norwich, KS and Columbus, OH before living in Wichita. Prior to serving on staff at Ridgepoint, Joe served as a pastor in churches in Wichita, Atlanta, and Memphis. Joe has been married to his wife Ginger since 2005. Joe and Ginger are the proud parents of Avery (daughter) and Ezra (son). Joe enjoys exercising, watching and playing an array of sports, and reading a good book.
Catherine Johnson
Co-Founder of The Neighboring Movement
Catherine Johnson is one of the co-founders of the Neighboring Movement, a non-profit based in the SoCe Neighborhood of Wichita, Kansas. In addition to valuing the relationships she builds with her neighbors, Catherine is passionate about caring for creation because it is a place of beauty where we can connect with God and our souls. She now works as the Environmental Project Manager/Recycling Coordinator for Sedgwick County.
Jo Lynn Bright
Author, speaker, consultant, co-founder of Much More Ministries, ambassador, cheerleader
Jo Lynn’s life journey has allowed her to serve in the child welfare arena, mental health organizations, and with various Christian entities. She earned bachelors and masters degrees from Kansas State University and Friends University, respectively. She currently serves as the AMBASSADOR of Jesus Christ through the ministry of HopeNet as Director of Community Impact. Jo Lynn is a certified Crown Financial Ministries Seminar Instructor and Money Map Coach.
Jo Lynn is a passionate communicator, and enjoys sharing encouragement, hope and truth filled with grace and love. Her favorite color is blue and she has a newfound fascination with butterflies. In 2018, she launched her inaugural book, 10 Things: A Personal Journey in Learning to Hear & Obey the Voice of God. Jo Lynn is married to Gaylyn, her best friend and life’s traveling companion. In 2011, Gaylyn and Jo Lynn co-founded Much More Ministries—encouraging others to want MORE of Him.
Paul Hill
Pastor
Paul, and his wife Calana (pronounced – kuh law nuh), have led the Wheatland Mission Church since its founding in 2006. Having journeyed with the church through many ups and downs, they are grateful to see God’s work in this corner of his Kingdom. Married 27 years, they have two children, Savannah recently graduated from Kansas State, and Harrison who is a senior at Wichita State.
In addition to pastoring the Wheatland Mission, Paul enjoys teaching courses in Bible and Christian Spirituality at Friends University. Paul has his bachelors from Manhattan Christian College; his masters from Friends University; and another masters from Johnson University.
Jacqueline Floyd
Bible teacher, administrator, retreat and workshop leader, conference speaker, trained spiritual director
Jacqueline resides and gets to live out her passion and calling at the tranquil, picturesque, sanctuary called Whispering Meadows Retreat KS. She was educated at the University of Oklahoma in Business Administration, Tabor College-Wichita in Christian Ministry, and is certified by Sustainable Faith School of Spiritual Direction. She has served on staff of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for over 20 years alongside her wonderful husband of 32 years Tarrance C. Floyd, Pastor, who is also a trained Spiritual Director.
Matthew Johnson
Spiritual Director, Author
Matthew Johnson is a spiritual director and retreat leader, helping others listen for God’s guidance in their lives. In this role, he serves with the School of Kingdom Living (Dallas Willard Ministries), the Apprentice Institute (Friends University) and the Great Plains Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is the author of "Worship" a book study in the Holy Living Series from Abingdon Press and has written small group and leader’s guides for The Good and Beautiful God, The Good and Beautiful Life, and The Good and Beautiful Community. He is a co-founder of the Neighboring Movement, and prior to that he served at the Andover United Methodist Church as the assistant minister for 15 years.
In 2015, he and his wife, Catherine hiked the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile spiritual pilgrimage across Spain. He is a (very) amateur singer/songwriter, who is most often inspired by the music of John Prine.
